Great Falls (2.16.14)

Great Falls Park is a relatively short drive from our house. At least when traffic is low. It’s a beautiful park where the Potomac River falls through a series of gorges. A few days back DC had a rare 6+ inch snowfall and I wanted to see the falls in the snow. I’ve been to the Maryland side of the park several times, but I wanted to see the Virginia side this time. Also, it seemed like there was less walking involved in visiting the Virginia side, which was important since we were also carrying our three month old daughter.
